CLASSIC WHISKEY SOUR
Serves 1
Sour. Sweet. Iconic. The Whiskey Sour is a cocktail that never goes out of style - bold in flavour, simple to make and always a crowd-pleaser. Serve it up in a Consol Glass Whisky Tumbler for timeless appeal in every sip.
Ingredients:
- 50ml Whisky of your choice
- 3 dashes Bitters
- 15ml Egg white
- Ice Cubes
- 1 Lemon twist
- 25ml Lemon juice
- 15ml Simple syrup
Method:
Option 1: Classic Method
1. Add a handful of ice to your shaker.
2. Pour in the whisky, lemon juice, simple syrup, egg white and bitters.
3. Shake vigorously for about 15–20 seconds to chill and foam the egg white.
4. Strain into a chilled Consol Glass Whisky Tumbler
5. Garnish with a lemon twist and enjoy.
Option 2: No Shaker
1. In a large jar or container with a secure lid add a few ice cubes.
2. Pour in the whisky, lemon juice, simple syrup, egg white and bitters.
3. Seal the lid tightly and shake hard for 20 seconds.
4. Open and strain into a chilled Consol Glass Whisky Tumbler
5. Garnish with a lemon twist.
