FESTIVE GINGERBREAD LIQUEUR
Perfect for spicing up coffee, drizzling over ice cream, or simply enjoying over crushed ice.
Ingredients:
- 5 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 Medium stick of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
- 3 Cinnamon sticks
- 200ml Whiskey or vodka
- 200g Condensed milk

200ml Fresh cream
- 750ml Consol Festive Theme Wine Bottle or any upcycled wine bottle
Method:

In a small pan, dissolve the sugar in 150ml water. Add the ginger and cinnamon, bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in the whiskey or vodka, and cover. Infuse at room temperature for 6 hours or overnight.

In a large jug, whisk condensed milk and cream until smooth. Strain in infused alcohol, discarding the spices, then add a pinch of salt, and whisk. Pour into a sterilised Consol Theme Festive Bottle. Chill before serving.

Keep chilled for up to a month. To serve, shake well to recombine as the cream naturally rises to the top.
